For starters, I am an Interactive Designer/Developer. I create alot of online work for advertising. As an IDD(to keep it short), I might create everything from a complex website to a simple online advertisiment. CSS, HTML and Flash are three of my most widely used technologies/apps. I have experience in MySQL, PHP, Javascript and I am currently learning more of database administration/development.

I recieved my BA in Imaging and Digital Arts from University of Maryland at Baltimore County with a concentration in Animation. Yes... I also do 3D. By the way, did I mention that I also do audio and video work? In the line of work that I currently do, there are a lot of different skill sets needed. I fullfill all or part of them as needed or requested. In the near future, I am planning to enter a master's degree program for Software Engineering.

Prior to entering into the technology field, I worked for a small service company for about 12 years. While there, I conducted product sales, actively participated in the management side of the business and performed service calls. After receiving my degree, I became a Flash Programmer for an e-learning company. I collabrated with Project Managers, Instructional Designers, Medical Writers to produce highly engaging e-learnng applications for Pharmaceautical and Biotech companies. My duties were, but not limited to writing, testing, debugging code, editing and integrating assets and doing a final test analysis for the end-product readiness in the LMS.

In late 2006, I decided that I wanted to get more into creating web applications on a broader but more creative scale. I found employment at a full scale Marketing, PR, Media and Interactive Agency. This allowed for more growth and learning due to the range of deliverables this line of work produces.

I am currently working as an Interactive Director-Designer at the Creative Intelligence Agency. My duties here are to take the print collateral and develop them into interactive applications. The overall goal is to make the collateral interactively engaging for the user while keeping the branding cohesive. At CIA, I develop Flash apps, email marketing, landing pages, micro-sites and on-line banner work which are primarily done with Flash, HTML, PHP, MySql and some Javascript. I have become trained in 508 compliance for developing Flash and HTML sites. It is also my responsibility to oversee how the interactive campaign will function, how the creative will cross over, and be accessilble and be ready for deployment as well.

In my spare time, I live to dive into the world of CMS. I love wordpress, drupal and silverstripe - to name a few. These are and have been the wave of the future for web sites. I spend time trying to develop my own themes and tinkering with the PHP code. In this portfolio, I try to explicitly state what work I have done or collaborated on for each project. Some of this work is owned by MGH and Accelera.
